Littered e-cig pods can leak heavy metals and residual nicotine into the environment.
Smoking is scientifically proven to be unhealthy. But what you didn't know also affects our environment. Cigarettes have a major negative impact on our planet because of the high and rising numbers of it being littered and tossed to the ground after an individual has finished smoking it. In fact researchers show how there is no surprise when it comes to the amount which comes to about 4.5 trillion cigarettes being littered each year. And also cigarettes would take up to 18 months for the cigarette to be fully decomposed. You would think it can’t get any worse than this, you’ll be mistaken there are E-cigarettes such as JUUL. Jul cartridges are pods shaped like made out of plastic. And almost all of these used non reusable plastic pods end up as litter on our streets which leaks metals and residual nicotine into the environment.
My game is about the user playing as theEarth and there are obstacles placed as Cigarettes and E-cigarette. The user objective is to successfully jump over these obstacles and safely reach the safe zone at the end. While the user is jumping over obstacles the environment around them is turning black such as the trees and the water and this is to represent the toxic waste that cigarettes are leaking into our environment.
