A favicon is a tiny little icon that is at the corner of the tab that in many ways is similar to a logo. Favicons can also appear in feed aggregators and bookmarks. Favicons can come in many shapes, sizes, designs, and colors.
Favicons are created by generators and programs that specialize in making favicons. Favicons are usually built by placing a pixel grid and filling in the boxes with color by hexadecimals or binary.
I created my favicon for this page by using Code.org's favicon creator. I typed in hexadecimals to make the shape of my favicon, the arrangements of the pixels for my favicon, and ther color of my favicon for my colored favicons. The Black and White favicons were made from binary numbers and arranged with 1's and 0's. I arranged the black and white images to make the shape of my favicon.
I added the favicon to the tab by first going inside the head tags. Next I typed in link rel="icon" href="BWSmallFavicon.png" type="image/png" to put in the favicon. Finally I put brackets at the ends to start and close them.
